Make It Special

| Some people may think a wedding already has a theme, you're getting married. This is true. However, having another theme can help make the decorations easier to devise and can also help give the event an attitude, a specific feeling, a tone, so to speak. The type of wedding you can have is as vast as your imagination. If you strongly identify with a certain ethnicity, then use that. Have Hula dancers, Tap dancers, Mexican dancers, Mariachi bands. Get creative. Have fun with it. For example a Scottish-Irish theme with Highland Dancers while you take your bridal photographs. Bride and groom in kilt, plaid madness. Or the Mardis Gras. Half masked, costume gowns, chocolate coins, clowns, jazz bands and a parade. Maybe a Renaissance wedding. Wigs, vests, waistecoats and a wandering minstrel. Cowboys and cowgirls, buck-a-roos. Hats and boots, six shooters and spurs.
